It has been setup and working for over a month, and not one complaint or negative. Easy to setup, remote control is clear and easy to use. Product is excellent, Highly recommend this DVD player. When using the upconvert option to HD quality the picture is incredible.

Product preforms as expected for a Harmon Kardon product. Product was delivered fast and well packed. This was a replacement unit for an older model and installation was very simple.
If you want a better DVD player, you will probably need to visit a high end audio/video dealer and look to spend much more.This is a great player for the price, and I highly recommend it for someone looking for excellent quality without paying a lot of money. Great design, picture, and sound quality. I love this DVD player. I upgraded from a Sony, and the upconverted DVD picture on my HD Panasonic plasma is almost as good as HD itself.
This beats any CD player I have ever heard - the sound coming through my Harmon Kardon speakers is superb. It does an excellent job of up converting standard movies, (my display is 720 p or 100 HDMI), and beats the up conversion of the Samsung Blu-Ray.The part you don't often hear about is its excellent audio quaintly. For serious audiophiles, it may be worth it for the sound quality alone. I bought this for use in my home theatre set up because of its top-rated status by Consumer Reports. I have it connected via HDMI through my Yamaha RX-V2700 receiver, along with a Samsung Blu-Ray player, HD PVR and a Yamaha CD player (everything into the receiver, one HDMI cable out to my Samsung 50 in plasma TV).
